Asthma is a chronic condition that causes inflammation of the lungs, muscle constriction, and overproduction of mucus. More than 25 mil people have asthma and it is the no. 1 chronic condition in children.
The types of asthma triggers can be allergic, occupational, exercise-induced, etc.
Asthma may cause difficulty breathing, chest pain, cough, and wheezing. The symptoms may indicate an asthma flare-up or an asthma attack.
Every day, 11 people die of an asthma attack. Death could be avoided with the proper prevention, treatment, and care. Unless patients have regular check-ups, it is hard to assess their progress and asthma control.
Our device measures Nitric Oxide values which detect airway inflammation and responsiveness to steroids.
